Short version: We collect only what we need to run your PR campaigns, process payments, and improve the experience. We don’t sell your data. Where our use of analytics/advertising cookies might be deemed a “share” under California law, you can opt-out.
Scope
This Policy applies to visitors, prospects, customers, agency partners, vendors, and journalists we contact in the course of pitching stories.
If we process personal information on behalf of a client (e.g., agency’s client list), we act as a Service Provider/Processor and our Data Processing Addendum (DPA) will govern that processing (available upon request).

Analytics/advertising platforms (aggregated metrics, campaign attribution).
Public/professional sources about journalists and outlets for pitching (name, work email, role, outlet, prior coverage—typically business contact data).
We do not intend to collect sensitive personal information (e.g., health, precise geolocation). Please do not submit it.
How We Use Information
Provide & operate the Services: onboard you, create and manage campaigns, pitch journalists, deliver reports, and provide support.

Analytics & improvement: measure performance, debug, develop features, and improve content and UX.
Legal & compliance: enforce Terms, respond to lawful requests, protect our rights and users.
Legal Bases (GDPR/UK GDPR)
Where required, we rely on: (i) Contract (to provide Services), (ii) Legitimate Interests (e.g., analytics, B2B outreach to journalists, service improvements, security), (iii) Consent (non-essential cookies/marketing), and (iv) Legal Obligations (tax, accounting, KYC/fraud).
Disclosures of Personal Information
We share information with:
Service providers/processors: hosting, CRM/portal (e.g., GoHighLevel), email/SMS, cloud storage, analytics, payment processors (e.g., Stripe/processor partners for card/ACH/wallets), fraud-prevention, customer support.
Publishers/journalists: we may reference your brand/spokesperson and website URL in pitches and published stories.
Business transfers: in a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets.
Legal/safety: to comply with law, respond to lawful requests, or protect rights, property, and safety.
We do not “sell” personal information for money. Some cookies or advertising tech may constitute a “share” for cross-context behavioral advertising under California law—see §10 for opt-out.
Cookies & Similar Technologies
Strictly necessary: login/authentication, security, checkout.
Performance/analytics: traffic patterns, funnel performance.
Advertising/retargeting (optional): if enabled for campaigns.
Your choices: Use our cookie banner to manage preferences; set your browser to block or delete cookies; or use the Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal, which we honor for sale/share opt-outs where required. Note some features may not work without certain cookies.

We keep personal information only as long as needed for the purposes above, including:
Account, orders, invoices, and reports: typically 7 years for tax/recordkeeping.
Portal messages and files: for the life of the account plus a reasonable archival period.
Cookies/analytics: per tool settings or until you delete/opt-out.
We may anonymize data for analytics and keep it longer in aggregate form.
Security
We use administrative, technical, and physical safeguards appropriate to the nature of the data (e.g., HTTPS/TLS, access controls, encryption at rest by our vendors, least-privilege). No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.
International Transfers
We are U.S.-based. If we transfer personal data from the EU/UK/EEA, we rely on appropriate safeguards (e.g., Standard Contractual Clauses and supplementary measures). We may appoint an EU/UK representative where required.
