By purchasing a campaign or clicking Buy Now, you agree to these Terms & Conditions (“Terms”).
Plain-English summary (not a substitute for the legal terms):
You provide three required details (Spokesperson Name, Brand/Company Name, Website URL) and can optionally list topics to avoid.
We independently create angles, pitch journalists, and track coverage—no client approvals are required.
We guarantee a minimum number of live newsroom links per package (5 / 10 / 20). If we deliver fewer by the end of the campaign window, we refund the shortfall only (see §8).
We don’t control specific outlets, anchors, link attributes, or ranking outcomes.
Aside from the minimum-shortfall refund and 12-month longevity policy, all sales are final.
Definitions
Client/you: the purchaser of Services.
Services: Unhyd’s digital PR campaign offerings sold on pr.unhyd.com.
Packages: Launch (5+ links), National Spotlight (10+ links), Viral Momentum (20+ links).
Link: a clickable hyperlink to your website within editorial content (not advertorial/paid placements) on a third-party site.
Placement: an article/page published by a third-party outlet that includes a Link to you.
Required Intake: Spokesperson Name; Brand/Company Name; Website URL.
Avoid Topics (optional): any topics you instruct us to avoid.
Campaign Window: up to 45 days for Launch/National Spotlight and up to 60 days for Viral Momentum, beginning on the later of: (a) cleared payment and (b) receipt of Required Intake.
DR: Ahrefs Domain Rating; Traffic: SimilarWeb monthly visits estimate; both are third-party estimates used for targeting only.
Syndication/Republish: lawful re-publication of an article to additional domains.
Scope & Process (No Client Approvals)
After Required Intake is received, Unhyd independently: (i) develops story angles; (ii) drafts pitches; (iii) performs journalist outreach and follow-ups; (iv) tracks coverage; (v) delivers a placement report (white-label available).
No pre-publication approvals. You acknowledge Unhyd does not provide drafts or angles for your approval, and you waive any right of prior review or editorial control.
You may list Avoid Topics at checkout/intake. We will make commercially reasonable efforts to respect them, subject to editorial outcomes.
Optimization rights. To maximize successful placements, Unhyd may adjust story angles, references, or suggested anchors/URLs in pitches at our discretion.
Targeting Standards & Editorial Control
We target outlets generally DR 40+ with ≥100k SimilarWeb traffic; many placements exceed these thresholds. These are targeting criteria, not a warranty about specific sites.
We do not guarantee specific publications, headlines, anchors/URLs, publish dates, or link attributes (follow/nofollow). Editorial control always remains with publishers.
Brand mentions without a hyperlink count as coverage but do not count toward the Link guarantee.
Counting Links & Syndication
Guaranteed Links are counted as unique published URLs that contain a live hyperlink to your website.
Multiple hyperlinks to your site within the same article count as one (1) Link.
Syndication/republish on additional domains counts as additional Links if each republished URL contains a live
hyperlink to you.
Publisher edits/removals after publication do not negate Links already earned (see §10 for longevity).
Client Responsibilities
rovide accurate Required Intake and ensure you have the right to name/represent the Spokesperson and to use your Brand/Company.
Provide truthful, non-misleading information; you are responsible for claims substantiation and any required disclosures (e.g., FTC, health/financial).
Topics to avoid must be given at intake; otherwise we proceed at our discretion.
Changes after work starts. Mid-campaign changes to identifying details (e.g., Spokesperson Name, Brand/Company Name, Website URL) may require us to re-pitch and may incur a reasonable administrative fee (e.g., $1350 per change) due to rework and list hygiene.
Restrictions & Acceptable Use
We may cancel/decline orders for illegal or offensive industries or content (e.g., hate/defamation, incitement, unlawful products/services, animal cruelty).
Adult, gambling/casino, or prescription-drug promotions may be possible only under separate scoping; if ordered via standard checkout, they may be canceled and refunded. Contact us first if unsure.
You warrant your website/materials comply with applicable laws and do not infringe third-party rights (IP, privacy, publicity).
Fees, Payment & Taxes
Prices are in USD. Payment is due in full at order via credit/debit card, ACH, bank wire, Apple Pay, Google Pay, or Amazon Pay; work begins after cleared funds.
Except for §8 (minimum-shortfall refund) and §10 (12-month longevity policy), all sales are final.
You are responsible for any applicable taxes and for bank/processing/return fees permitted by law.
Late amounts accrue the lesser of 1.5% per month or the legal maximum, plus reasonable collection costs and attorneys’ fees.
No set-off. Payments shall not be reduced by set-offs, counterclaims, or chargebacks (see §9).
Minimum Link Guarantee & Shortfall Refund (Exclusive Remedy)
Package Minimums: Launch = 5 Links; National Spotlight = 10 Links; Viral Momentum = 20 Links within the Campaign Window.
If Links delivered are below the package minimum by the end of the Campaign Window, Unhyd refunds the shortfall on a prorated basis:
Refund = Package Fee × (Shortfall ÷ Package Minimum)
Example: National Spotlight $10,499; 8 delivered; shortfall 2 → refund $10,499 × (2/10) = $2,099.80.
A 7-day reconciliation period follows the Campaign Window. Any Links that go live during this period count toward the minimum and reduce any refund owed.
Aside from the shortfall refund (or, at your election, an equivalent service credit), no other refunds are provided.
Chargebacks, ACH Returns & Fraud
A chargeback or ACH return is a material breach. Services are suspended and access to reports may be withheld pending resolution.
You agree to notify Unhyd and allow a reasonable investigation of any billing dispute before initiating a chargeback.
We may use reasonable KYC/fraud-prevention and you agree to cooperate.
Link Longevity — 12-Month Policy
Links typically remain live indefinitely; publishers may later migrate/update/remove content.
If within 12 months a removal/change reduces live Links below your package minimum, we will either (a) refund the per-link prorated amount for the removed Link, or (b) provide an equivalent service credit of equal or greater value—your choice.
SEO/Traffic & Platform Disclaimers
We do not guarantee search engine rankings, traffic, revenue, or specific SEO outcomes. Any form of link acquisition carries inherent risk (including potential search-engine penalties). You assume those risks.
We are not responsible for changes made to your website by you or third parties that may adversely affect SEO or visibility.
We rely on third-party platforms and data (publishers, email systems, Ahrefs, SimilarWeb). Availability/accuracy may vary and does not constitute Unhyd breach.
Reporting, Confidentiality & White-Label
We provide a placement report with live URLs. For agencies, white-label reporting is available upon request.
Confidentiality. All fees, services, documents, recommendations, lists, and reports are confidential.
NDA policy. We do not sign individual NDAs by default; this §12 functions as our confidentiality commitment. If you require a separate NDA, contact us—turnaround may affect timelines.
Intellectual Property
Client Materials. You own your brand assets and grant Unhyd a non-exclusive worldwide license to use them to perform the Services and to showcase outcomes in our portfolio unless you opt out in writing.
Unhyd Work Product. We own our processes, research, lists, templates, and deliverables. Upon full payment, we grant you a perpetual, non-exclusive license to use reports/graphics internally and in your marketing. Publisher content remains owned by the publisher.
Corrections; Removals
If a factual error about you appears in coverage, we will make commercially reasonable efforts to request a correction; publishers are not obligated to comply.
We are typically unable to remove coverage once published. Where appropriate, we may request removal, but publishers control final decisions.
Non-Solicitation
For 12 months after your campaign, you will not directly solicit for employment or contract any Unhyd employee or core contractor assigned to your account (general ads excluded).
Warranties & Disclaimers
We warrant that Services will be performed in a professional and workmanlike manner.
AS-IS. Except as expressly stated, Services are provided “as is.” We disclaim all other warranties (express, implied, statutory), including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
Indemnification
You will defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Unhyd and its personnel from claims, damages, liabilities, and costs arising out of: (i) your materials/instructions; (ii) your breach of these Terms; (iii) your violations of law or third-party rights (including IP, privacy, publicity).
Force Majeure
Neither party is liable for delay/failure due to events beyond reasonable control (e.g., publisher strikes/policies, platform outages, disasters, war, law/policy changes). Obligations resume when the event ends.
Governing Law; Dispute Resolution
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California (conflict-of-laws rules excluded).
Binding Arbitration; Class Waiver. Any dispute shall be resolved by final, binding arbitration administered by JAMS in Orange County, California, before a single arbitrator, in English. No class or representative actions. Either party may seek injunctive relief in court for IP/confidentiality breaches. Jury trial is waived.

Send notices to [email protected] and to the mailing address above (or as updated in your client portal). Notices may be sent by email with confirmation, courier, or certified mail.
Email & Communications
By purchasing, you agree to receive transactional emails (orders, reports, system updates). You may separately opt into marketing emails and unsubscribe at any time; see our Privacy Policy.
Subscriptions (if offered)
If you enroll in any subscription or credit plan: (a) you may cancel at any time effective at the end of the current billing period; (b) no refunds for unused credits; (c) unused credits remain in your account after cancellation; (d) we may cancel discounted orders if we detect abuse (e.g., activating for ≤14 days solely to obtain a discount).
Updates to Terms; Entire Agreement; Severability
You may not assign these Terms without our prior written consent, except to a successor to substantially all assets/equity. Unhyd may assign to an affiliate or in connection with a corporate transaction.
Package Disclosures (clarity recap)
Launch: 5+ Links; Campaign Window up to 45 days.
National Spotlight: 10+ Links; up to 45 days.
Viral Momentum: 20+ Links; up to 60 days.
Targeting: DR 40–95; ≥100k SimilarWeb traffic; many placements exceed these.
Editorial control: Publishers decide anchors/attributes; expect a natural follow/nofollow mix.
Counting: Unique URLs with a live hyperlink to your site count; multiple links in one article = 1; lawful syndications count individually.
